Where to begin! Autumn is most definitely upon us and the dark nights are here, so time for an update to the goings on at Sage&Onion.
The summer was great to start with but the severe flooding in June 2012 led to a massive relocation for the business. After 20 years of living in the north I decided to move back to my roots of the south coast and the flooding seemed to be a sign that now was the right time for the shop to move too! I have now opened in the gorgeous market town of Lewes, East Sussex. I am very excited for this new phase and the reaction of the people who have been in over the last week since opening has been encouragingly positive.
I still have the wonderful brands that I had in Hebden Bridge, with an added few that I couldn’t resist! The brands that are now in Lewes include (the ever popular) JonnyQ Jeans, The Pretty Dress Co., Numph, AmyGee, Emily and Fin, Blink Footwear and the new and amazing SuzyD and Chinese Laundry Footwear.
The website has the majority of the clothing on it and you can always give us a call at the shop if you want to have a bit of advice or just more information.
Autumn is a lovely time to revamp your wardrobe, whether it’s some cosy knitwear, layering pieces, a party dress or the never-ending pleasure of a new and perfectly fitting pair of jeans! The colours for this Autumn are lovely and rich with a fabulous blend of aubergine, charcoal, camel, magenta and mulberry – to name but a few!
Welcome to the new phase of the shop and although it was with sadness that I left the north the south is exciting and I am looking forward to spreading the word of Sage&Onion.
